Welcome to the church in Norman
As the church in Norman we gather simply as believers of the Lord in this city, and we receive as our brothers and sisters all who believe in Jesus Christ. Likewise, we warmly welcome guests and visitors who are not Christians, but are desiring to know more about our Lord Jesus and the Christian life.
We are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who love Him and endeavor to give Him the first place in all things. In the church in Norman, we have just one goal: to experience Christ for the building up of His Body, the Church. In order to reach this goal, we gather frequently to study the Bible, foster a life in Christ, establish our children and young people in the faith, serve mankind with the gospel, and encourage one another's God-given ministry in the Body of Christ.
Our Story
Serving the Norman Community
Christians began meeting as the church in Norman, in 1977. Since then, the church has been a spiritual home for hundreds of believers (including many OU undergraduates, graduates, academic scholars, and international study abroad students!), and has been instrumental in gospel preaching and church planting efforts throughout North America and abroad.
